Amen, Eiman! When I was at a crossroads a few years back I considered leaving my profession (academics) for a passion (bread baking). The economics were the primary factor that dissuaded me, but I was sensible enough to ask whether I would love baking as much if I were doing it to keep body and soul together and pay the bills. Even then, I realized the answer was, no.
