As a professor who has taught Latin for 30 years, this did my heart good, Carol. I'll be teaching a course on Medical Terminology this spring semester, in fact, where I hope to introduce pre-med students to the joys of Latin (and Greek) surreptitiously (from surrepere, to creep or crawl under, steal upon, come on unawares).
