Congratulations on that win, Patricia! What a wonderful coincidence in your race bib number. I'm afraid I didn't recognize the number, but I read Kathrine Switzer's story years ago, accompanied by the same startling photo that you include of Jock Semple trying to remove her from the race. Thanks for telling that story again here, along with the note that Semple later acknowledged that he was wrong. We need more stories like that.
