Funny, I was just thinking along these lines today after hearing a story on NPR about Florida's strange prosecution of ex-felons who voted "illegally" in the last election. If we're going to argue that felons have lost the right to vote, perhaps we should also argue that the wealthy who have been found guilty of financial impropriety have lost the right to contribute to political campaigns at any level. I'm guessing that would lead to some legal corrections immediately!
