I can't imagine running in that heat (and I'm a native South Carolinian!) I can imagine some of the physical consequences, though. Been there. Cracked on a couple of longer triathlons. And I well remember one bike ride when I stupidly opted not to refill my water bottle at the last town because, hey, I had only 25 relatively flat miles till home. I stopped about 7 miles from home and called my daughter for water!
