I changed my path from ministry to the academy in my early 20s, Isak, because I was not pastoral enough. Sadly, I'm not sure that I am now. My younger sister became a counselor later in life, in her 50s, and she loves it and is good at it. Had I not just turned 60 (two days ago) I might explore that path, at least in the form of a class or two, but somehow I feel that it is too late for me.
But I love the advice, truly, and I value it. And I think I would have loved working with you on such a curriculum for healthcare students. Ah, the path not taken.
Thank you again for reading and responding, my friend.
