I didn't mean to make light of your efforts to earn, Christine, so please accept my apologies if that came off as demeaning!

Occasionally I'll dip into an article that shares a writer's earnings, and without exception, they are spending hours and hours each day for less than minimum wage. Of course, they are free, and there's value in that. But I write only when I want to, and I never want writing to become a hamster wheel of daily production. If I earn enough to buy a locally brewed draft beer a month, that's a good month!
