I had a difficult year in a residential boys' boarding school (minus the possibility of France and weight gain) where the head rapscallion was also the BoT chair's child. Makes you wonder how widespread the pattern.

That's a tough balance beam for those schools. They accept a rich man's child who has been expelled everywhere else, put the man on their board and accept his generous donations, all while not expelling his child.
