I love the fact that you mirror back exactly what I feel, Mick. I'm usually quite restless with in-between times, as that last poem I wrote expressed. But not so much now. Not sure why. (It's not maturity...)

I'm kind of embarrassed to say that I didn't reflect on the fact that the southern hemisphere isn't settling into winter! Thanks for responding kindly to an experience that is the opposite of yours.
