I'd read your story about wanting to be a plant person but lacking the so-called green thumb, Lily. I can easily imagine a piece that would be self-revealing, humorous, tinged with "failure" and loss but in a minor key, yet hopeful and ambitious too. In other words, I don't need or want to read only "expertise," especially on Medium, but also personal and authentic, experience-driven and insightful essays and reflections. Just FYI, my friend.
