Thank you very much for your kind words about my writing. If I may be painfully honest, I do not think that I write very well. That's why I publish so little. I can write perfect emails and letters, and I feel pretty confident in my scholarly voice, though I'm less confident in my scholarly arguments. But I'm growing into this kind of writing, this reflective, evaluative, experiential and observational type of writing. Medium has been a wonderful environment to learn and grow in that way because there are so many writers skilled in that style and voice (and to my eye, they run 90% women to 10% men at most, so yes, I want to write more like women!)

Medium is not a career, though, and if writing is my next path, I do not yet see the trailhead. Trust me, I'm looking!
