I'm not sure I've read a piece that contains more than this one, Catlin. Somehow you combine the grim with the hopeful, the socially critical with the inwardly reflective, the exhausted with the joyful, even the living with the dead. This is extraordinarily honest and true, and very moving. Thank you for sharing this, and all best to you.
