I'm working on a humor piece on alternative careers for a Classics professor "down the street," Ian. Needless to say, it won't traffic in real solutions.
Honestly, brother, I have no idea what kind of employees corporations want anymore. We're told frequently that "business leaders want liberal arts majors" because they're skilled in critical and creative thinking, in problem solving, in analysis, and collaborative projects, etc. I hope that's true. Socratic self-examination does not seem prevalent in American society, that's for sure.
Thanks for reading and responding, my friend.
