It's been 40 years since I fiddled with focus, aperture, and exposure on a manual Nikon, GE, and I can barely remember what effects different apertures had. The f8 creates greater depth of focus than f1.2 or f2? The photos in this essay are amazingly vibrant, but I don't if the aperture is responsible for that!
