My parents will celebrate their 60th anniversary this January, and we've begun a few of these conversations. But they married young and are early 80s...and my mom is still the primary care-giver for HER mom, in assisted living, who's 101. It may be a while before they need the kind of care you describe. But I appreciate this very much. I am likely to have a similar story, just don't know when or for how long.
