She is very smart, Dr. Anita. I've never encountered anyone with more emotional intelligence, and she is a creative (she's a ceramicist), and she's attuned to other people and to the world around her. She's amazing.

And yes, I put on my "settler" spectacles and started building a life for us that didn't involve all of her.
