Speaking only personally, Kasey, I would normally appreciate the feedback however I got it. If you had been aggressive and/or demeaning, that's another story! But otherwise, feedback is good. Even if we don't take it, we learn how our work is received.

I posted a short poem to Medium early this year and one of the comments was constructive criticism--and of course, it's public! But dang it, the commenter was right.
