Thank you for your good question, Joe, but no, I'm not invested with a state pension fund but with a 401 plan. It goes with me! The concern I expressed in the piece was that I planned to contribute to it for another 5-7 years before I started drawing retirement, so I would need to find a job to bridge the years between my dismissal from the university and drawing retirement--unless I want to draw far less.
