The photos of the storm from the deck, and of the sunset afterwards, are astounding, Salsam. I also appreciate the photo from Chacchoben, which I'd never heard of! I teach the Mayan text Popul Vuh in a core Humanities class and studied the culture, but I haven't kept up with all the new discoveries. Thanks for that!
