This review, like so many, makes me incredibly grateful to you, Harry, for publishing these. This is more a response to you than to this review. Through you I learn about texts and arguments and events that I wouldn't otherwise. That learning is tinged with a bit of wistfulness that I'll never read or think all the things that you do, but I'm still grateful to know.

I've read a bit of Richard Rohr long ago and been moved and challenged by him. I probably tend toward more "procedural" than "experiential" faith, in your apt characterization, but the older I get, the more weightless that seems at times. This may be just the text I need. Thanks for the introduction, my friend.
