Those student evals could indeed be fodder for Medium pieces forever, Salsam! I've gotten in the bad habit--I recognize it--of not really processing the critical comments. If several note the same thing, that's useful and I can respond in following semesters. But it's been a while since I've found student evals very useful, for encouragement or for improvement. Students respond regarding their experience of the course, but that's often so personal that I can make general use of it afterwards. I "lectured" too much for one student, too little for another, that sort of thing. Slowly I have grown a little deaf to those things.

As for Medium pieces, I'm not averse to writing "negative" pieces of the "Can you believe what X did/said...?!" sort. But those seem pretty common, and I'm inclined to write negatively about myself, but not often about others.
