We’re all experts of our own experience, and those tend to be the kinds of things I enjoy on Medium—even, on occasion, when they aren’t very “good” in conventional ways of structure, clarity, word choice, etc. I don’t really come to Medium for disciplinary expertise. If I encounter it, great, but for me it’s a bonus.
