I learned last week that there is no future position for me at my university. Six months of waiting on the possibility that I might be re-homed in another department have ended, and I know the answer. Now on to the next thing!

I've thought quite a bit about those next things, and of course I've considered what I might do online. I'm apprehensive but intrigued, and I've had good conversations with others who talk about the good and not so good of it.

But your comment just hit me right, and I appreciate it. It's encouraging to know that there are people who are interested in what I might have to say.
