You might know this, Judy, but some of the Gospels that didn't make it into the New Testament give accounts of Jesus' childhood. In the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, the 5-year-old Jesus makes birds from clay: and then makes them living birds that fly away! Another child mocks him, and Jesus curses him and he dies, etc. Your questions about Jesus the child have a long pedigree!
